The first edition was a signed and numbered presentation edition. Below is the first trade edition. The copyright page states "Printed in the United States of America" followed by "[ A ]", and has no book club blind stamp on the back of the binding.

Please note that we have seen book club editions with the "[ A ]" on the copyright page, but these editions also state that they were printed by the Kingsport Press, and they have a small book club blind stamp on the back of the binding (on the bottom near the spine.)

The Spirit of St. Louis book won the Pulitzer Prize for Autobiography.
